• Two tiles per person

• Paint, glaze and firing of tiles

• 30 minute lesson on possible techniques to use

  • Including basics (how-to’s) of ceramic painting, differences in glaze finishes and 3 different techniques/procedures for painting tiles creatively.

• Artist spotlight

  • A lesson on the background and history of an artist (current or past/famous) including the artists’ techniques, procedures, history and impact on American art.

• 20 minute lesson on Kiln Room and process

  • Including a tutorial on pottery glazing, dipping and drying. A tutorial on kiln loading and firing and the molecular process of glazing pottery.
